The game is what it is, and the difficulty can't be unfair, as the levels aren't randomly generated, but human made. A big issue for the sudoku app I like to use in higher difficulties. Moreover, ads aren't *too* obstructive, being able to be quickly skipped and all. But if that's still too much, the game allows you to play offline, so yay. 5 star mobile game, 4.5 regular game, but free, so who am I to complain? A curmudgeon, that's what.

This game is great - nice design, good puzzles. I gave it only 3 stars because I paid so I don't have to see ads, but as often as not, the "Remove Ads" link still appears on the startup page. If I open the app with it there, I see ads. I often have to shut down the app and restart 2-3 times to get the ads to go away. This is very annoying! Also it needs an Undo.

As an established puzzle game. This app hasn't done anything too revolutionary. You either like number puzzles and kakuro, or you don't. That said, this free app provides a plethora of content as far as pre rendered puzzles go. The UI is extremely friendly, quite easy to use. And ads are non intrusive. There is a 5 second ad every few levels complete. If kakuro is something you enjoy, I highly recommend this app. I personally couldn't live without my daily number puzzle. So I love it.

This is a good adaptation of one of my favorite puzzles. The ads are annoying, especially the ones that blink and flash while you play, but the app itself is pretty solid. There are a LOT of puzzles of all abilities and it has kept me occupied for a while. I wish it were possible to remove ads (I'm willing to pay!), or to reset puzzle progress to do them again. Even uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn't reset the progress.

Awesome game! It plays smoothly. Can be as easy or as challenging as you like. It doesn't have the annoying gimmicks of a lot of other games. Just solve the puzzle. Ads are minimal, which is awesome. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a logic puzzle. I think the easier levels would be good to help kids learn to do addition in their head.

For some reason I always hit "Later" when it asks if I'll rate this app. Today I decided to stop procrastinating. This is the app I have used the absolute longest. I have had it on every smartphone I've owned, back to the Blackberry I got in 2010. I work my way through all the puzzles, then delete the app, re- it and start again. Yep, over and over. Sometimes I do have a feeling of deja vu and it'd be nice if there were more hard puzzles after all these years... but it's free, so hey.

EDIT 2023: I'm playing on a Pixel 6 nowadays, and I'm happy to say that on this larger screen, I can now *more* easily hit all the buttons. Hitting the wrong number is improved about 80%. ORIGINAL (2016): May be better on tablets, but I wish the real estate was re-configured to allow the number pad to be slightly larger. My stubby fingers constantly hit the wrong buttons. Otherwise, I love this game!

Instructions were very easy to follow and understand, well laid out, with very clear given examples. Great alternative after mastering Sudoku. Very simple, yet pleasing layout. Not much for options, no Settings menu, but the simplicity is great for those that just want to get to solving the puzzles. Ads are not intrusive.
