App got a facelift, and it looks nice, but now I can't modify my reservation. I get to the end and when I click the apply changes button, party of the Web form turns whiteish, then back to before. No errors; no indication I filled out part of the form incorrectly. I can discard changes, though! Only problem I've noticed so far. Edit: app crashes on startup, now. Revert the changes, go back to the old version, fix this one, redeploy.

One of the worst apps I've ever used. Got rid of my reservation, replaced it with a new one after I visited the counter. It didn't let me modify my rental through the app (kept getting errors). I dropped the car off early and tried hitting the drop off button, again another error. I call Avis to confirm drop off, they say no problem. I get charged the full amount and when I call again they say there's no evidence I dropped it off early, all because they force you to use this app

This app is incredibly frustrating to use. It’s slow, unresponsive, and riddled with bugs. I’ve had issues with reservations not updating, pages freezing, and constant error messages. It feels like it wasn’t tested properly before launch. I’ve already started using Hertz, even though I’ve been with Avis as a President’s Club member since 2016. Your IT team needs to take responsibility for this disaster.

Used the app to book a vehicle and was told they don't have a vehicle for me when I arrived. They offered for me to drive to another location to get a vehicle which is unacceptable. Bottom line do not trust app to have accurate information and do not expect customer service from Avis to resolve the issue. Edit: Amazing I on went on the app after complaining to customer service and the large SUV I reserved was no longer listed as available. Obviously they made this adjustment after my complaint.

What happened to the option to split bill in the new version. It used to be easy to split business and personal days (e.g. weekend days at the end of a business trip) between two cards. Last rental required asking the return attendants to not process the return and going to the office. The old version was fast and painless.

New app is a downgrade, it lacks ability to pick vehicle, and still doesn't have a toggle for business vs. personal travel so I have to stop at the desk and my card twice every time I make a personal trip (once for swapping to personal, once for swapping to corporate - both cards have been on my for years). Literally punishing brand loyalty.

I totally agree about the app freezing into white screen. I tried to pause it and restart it, but it didn't work! I'll uninstall and reinstall and see what happens. Avis should fix that quickly or this will affect the overall reviews of Avis services! This is VERY INCONVENIENT, to havr to go to the counter at the airport!

App had been great for years. With the new update, many features are gone, for example you cannot change vehicle any longer once assigned at certain airports. App is very slow and unresponsive popping several error messages. The update did way more harm than good, and frequent renters like myself are not too happy. I spoke with a few people waiting in line to get a car assigned, although the lot was full. Please fix the new updates to match the past almost-flawless system.
