Does not work well on Android. The formatting worked pretty great on iPhone, and the cloud recovery worked wonders switching to Android but the usability on Android is AWFUL. App force closes every time you attempt to move pictures from one album to another, select multiple pictures, or even delete a picture. I've put in multiple tickets over a 2 month span with no response. Will not be renewing my storage subscription and am looking for a new storage app.

Update: After a little back and forth to find the exact issue, the developers built an update to fix the problem. Bugs happen but this level of customer service rarely does. 👍👍 Original: If you don't plan to use the cloud save, consider this five stars. But every time it tries to retrieve the photos I had it gives me a "data/logic error while attempting to synchronize". I lost a lot of photos. I'd have deleted the app out of reasonable bitterness if I wasn't still holding out hope it'll work.

This app is fantastic and super easy to use! Even the free version is incredibly helpful. In the free version there's 3 albums available and all you have to do is look at a mini ad. Adding any photos to the vault gives you the option to delete it from your phones album and keep it there, but revert if needed. The payed version is fantastic, it's multiple albums with the ability to recall if you delete something. **Saving gifs doesn't work anymore(the gif itself was corrupted, Sorry about that!)

Back when I had an iPhone, this was the best Private photo app, and after switching to an Android, I was excited to see that it was also on the play store. However, this app is nothing like the iOS version. Some features like shake to go to the bottom or nonexistant, and the ads wouldn't be so bad if they didn't crash the app half of the time. I would love to give this app 5 stars, but I can't bring myself to do that with these obvious issues.

Edit #2: Fixed review layout and typos. Edit: Dropped to 2 stars because app cannot view all videos so it only adds a small portion of what is selected. For now will only use for pictures. Review: Works well and quickly. I like being able to set a picture to each vault as the one to view. The reason for 3 stars is the default Main Album cannot be deleted or renamed. Once we are able to do one of those things, I will change my rating.

I love this one my iPad. not so much on my edge+. stupidly paid for pro before testing it out. hardly plays GIFs, freezes up and cannot put videos it vault. hopefully this will be fixed in a future update. almost three months later still glitchy and still freezes up. ready for a new app. Now the app crashes when trying to add photos on my Note 20. Not happy

I've had this app for a very long time. Then one day I can't get into my albums. I've ed customer several times and each time they say to enter the PW 8 times and then you should get a reset option. Nope! Never happens. How in the world do you run a company that cannot help you reset your it's ridiculous!!! When you decide to upgrade things you should send out emails to your customers letting them know of the changes. Frustrated!!

If you're having app crash problem and cannot export your files, try turning on airplane mode and mid power saving mode (samsung). I was able to successfully export after doing these things. Photo Vault team is unresponsive to my and will just tell you to 'update the app and sorry if it doesn't fix your problem".....wth? for real? terrible QA and R&D from them, i'm sure they don't even have those. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND A PROPER APP BEFORE ALL YOUR FILES ARE LOST BY THEM
