After the latest update on Android, reading 'Today's Paper' has become a frustrating affair. 1.If you switch to different app for a while and come back to AFR, ed paper doesn't load. You need to close (kill) the app and restart 2.Every time you return to the Today's paper - it bring you back to front page instead of ing. 3.Double tap doesn't zoom in / out 4.Newspaper flickers when you move areas of the same page on the screen. NOTE: Previous Android version was good.

I was told by my boss some 40 (?) years ago that the Fin Rev was the newspaper to read and be seen reading. So I've done so ever since, albeit sporadically. He was right. Waaaaay better than the others. The only thing I haven't worked out with the app is how to make the pictures bigger. So 4 stars. UPDATE No, back to 5. Picture biggening is fine.

Enhancement suggestion: please create app functionality to be able to cache articles on our device so they can be read when off-line (eg on a flight, or commuting through areas where mobile reception is weak like underground trains and regional trains). FT have this functionality

The "new" AFR app was promoted in the newspaper today (3rd April). It looks clean and sharp (uncluttered), with occasional ads inserted down the content, which includes a short article intro, and just tap to read more. The menu reflects the regular sections in the newspaper, making it easy to focus on a specific subject area (eg. World, Markets, Finance, Politics, Life n Leisure, etc). Overall the new app is a great way to skim through the headlines to see the latest news, then tap to read more.

I have been eagerly waiting for this app and it's looking great so far. The design is sleek and -friendly, making it easy to navigate and find what I need. The app's features are also impressive, and I appreciate the attention to detail that has gone into making it a great experience for s. Overall, I am very pleased with it and I look forward to exploring it further. Well done to the team behind this!

A few things that could be improved. 1. Display aus and international markets 2. (Most important in my opinion) allow the to structure what content is most important in their feed - As is used in the Herald Sun App (when I used to read it). Apart from that, app works well.

Unreadable in dark format in low light. The inclusion of blue text throughout articles when you have dark turned on and are reading predominantly white text means that swathes of the articles are illegible in low light. Are basic UI flaw for an otherwise good addition to android
