I have always felt that this app is terrible. Now that I have changed my subscription from print to digital I find it even worse to navigate. All I want to do is for it to open up to the actual newspaper but there is no simple way to do this. I waste more time trying to get to those pages than it takes to read the entire newspaper. I cannot think of a worse app that exists. So it's about 18 months later and the app is as problematic as ever. If I had more space here, I would elaborate.

The app works great. My complaint is about the customer service. I signed up for a $1 6-month free trial subscription for this app. The problem came when $14.99 was mysteriously whisked out of my without warning, thus overdrafting my . My problem is there should have been an email warning me of my 6 month trial subscription ending. That did not happen, I had to call back twice to get my refund and cancel the subscription. Shady business practice

As a paying subscriber, I expect more from a phone app. Disorganized content and I'm forced to sign in multiple times in a day. Rating this app mediocre is being kind. On my Kindle, the "print version" format is available. It's familiar and very easy to use. I like the AP Press for local content. Corporate sourced national and political content is predictably agenda driven to varying degrees. That aspect can't be avoided in today's world. Free press is the law, not necessarily the practice.

Having zero customer service. They state the only way to cancel your subscription is to call. But they don't have a push button option. They make you say "cancel" and when you do it says" I'm sorry, I don't understand you." You email them and they tell you to call. They don't care about people or their reputation.cant get help you really horrible

In general pretty good, but missing some features of more prominent news apps. Could use more nuanced features (such as scheduling), stories sorted by time, recommended stories, and a slightly better UI

I DON'T know how they got my new credit card info, but I did not authorize the outrageous $70 "digital" subscriptionc price to be taken off my debit card .... I moved to Florida in June morons 🙄🤔 cancel & refund my money TOMORROW !!!! And NO the money is NOT being taken out of the Google play store

Unfortunate that the local paper has taken such a political stance on so many stories. They offer a spin to nearly half of the reports. I get the importance of selling news, but it seems to overshadow the ethics and honest reporting. Whether I agree with their perspective or not, a news outlet is press and supposed to simply report accurate news. I have canceled my subscription because of the inability to report without injecting perspective. Fear mongering and division creation

I just want to read the stories in a straightforward way. I don't want popups, videos, ads, "subscribe" requests, other b.s. I'll give it a few more days, before I again cancel. My head is spinning.
