Playback forever stops and starts. Once playback freezes somewhere, it will not play that section of vide again. Horrible. And now to top it all off the app is constantly requesting location permissions. There's absolutely no reason that this app requires them. I'm gonna move to zoneminder.

This app used to be good now it is next to useless. The is hit and miss for the alarms. Notifications are useless as the "you have an alarm activation" no longer triggers. The only option in the app is for an "intense" sound if the alarm goes off but this doesn't work either. This is the third phone that this has happened on so it can't be blamed on the phones.

App was working fine, but was installed along with cameras and alarm by a third party. Due to a change in Internet provider and unable to get any response from third party installer the app is off line, and unable to . The system is working still but of no use to view whilst away from home.

Reluctantly I'm giving this app 2 stars. I get push notifications from the alarm but not the cameras. PIR alarm set through the web interface, push notifications alarm schedule set to 24/7. So I should be getting push notifications. What is interesting is that the alerts are there in the message centre within the procontrol+ app but no push notifications. So the camera is doing its bit but the app isn't. It's a pity because it's a great concept but it shouldn't need an installer to set this up. An end should be able to do this. I really hope this problem is fixed OR it's made more friendly....

Clunky and slow, dissapointed. Picked for smart functions wish I fitted different system. If I opted for traditional vocaliser/dialer, have option to listen in an pa system, app does alot less than a traditional dialer. Can do very little with app, and nothing to do with install. Would be better if you could see status on first screen ie set or not or triggered, even if had to for anything else. As an end having to twice to access status though the app is rubbish.

POINTLESS APP!!!! The Home control app, works all the time EVERY time. This app, constantly fails to connect. Before you try to blame anything my end, I'm an engineer that buys and installs £10,000's worth of these systems every year. The systems are fantastic, the home control app is faultless, this app is pathetic. This is what happens when you try to merge 2 decent apps (hik-connect and home control) into one app that just doesn't work. Obviously this is down to the Hik-vision take over.

Absolute rubbish. App keeps logging you out, fails to recognise your . Is soo slow a tortoise with 2 legs is faster. Worst app I have had the misfortune to come across. Seriously avoid it. Further to my comments above, I've waited until I had a new phone Google pixel 7a. Same issues so its not the phone/s. Still extremely slow. I have an extension, garage. if I select 2 areas to arm at the same time 1 will dropout! Often when both are set, one will unset. Sort this out.

Quite liked the functionality of the app before this last update. You could easily and quickly scroll through notifications swiping left or right on cctv alert images. This function has now gone meaning to look at the larger image for each notification you have to click on each (for the larger image) then minimise it, before moving to the next image. Please bring back the swipe function as the friendliness of this app is now awful!!
