1. LIVE STREAMING (NON-TELEVISED GAMES ONLY)

Live streams include regional network productions, Student U productions, and simple camera feeds. A TV Provider is NOT required to subscribe to B1G+.

They had a 50% off 3 mo subscription d. I proceeded to order it, wanting the offer that drew me into the webpage. Supposedly, the offer discount would occur after payment. When it did not happen, I found an expiration date 1.5 mos before on the bottom of the opening page. I inquired with customer svc, and after several frustrating rounds with a screenshot they denied me the offer. Insult to injury--the app will not onto any of my smart tv's....

Will gladly update if given greater choices. App is fine, but my reason for 2 stars is...I ONLY want to watch college basketball, and I ONLY want to watch the Indiana Hoosiers, but I have to pay for the full BTN+ subscription. How hard would it be to have an a la carte stream-by-game "rental" service!? Clearly it is an option for movies (ex. YouTube movie rentals). Customer's full control and choice; now, wouldn't that be refreshing! Thank you.

If you accidently order the wrong subscription, they won't let you change it. Not a big deal if you signed up for a monthly plan. However, my in-laws paid for an annual subscription to the wrong team and they wouldn't let them change to the proper school nor allow them to cancel the subscription and reimburse then. They wouldn't even allow them to the full Big Ten subscription without paying the full price instead of the difference between the plans. Don't waste your money!!!!

No closed captioning, if you get big 10 plus on Fire Stick you can't even rewind. Spent a lot of time chatting about the problems with no resolution and was told my situation would be forwarded to the tech team and they would get back with me by email, but you can guess how that went (they never did.) Big Ten + people, fix these issues!!! Glad to be able to watch games in live time but that is absolutely all you can do, and $10.00 a month is way overpriced for that.

The app does not work for streaming video. I tried dozens of times on multiple devices and it would not function. Eventually I was able to get the Roku version of the app to stream a few choppy minutes of the game but it was mostly just frustrating. Basically you cannot watch anything unless you are home on your own cable TV connection which is not realistic for many normal busy people.

I like the content that I get however it lacks in the ability to customize your experience. If you only subscribe to one sport or school it will still make you filter through everything else that you don't want to see, and do not have a subscription for, every time you open the app. It needs some setting options to allow you to specify where you will start from. 9/19/21 update - from ok to bad At least before I could filter for the sport I want to watch and now the only filter option is the date

Why when I click an event that happened yesterday, it doesn't show the score. It shows a dash for each score. Yet, the header says "final". Also, the video player is terrible. Update 10/25/2023: terrible app interface. Defaults to Illinois and if you submit, you're locked in, even if you selected to view a different event before subing. Why, if I clicked a Michigan State game to watch, would it think I want to sub to Illinois? Okay, alphabetical order. However, how about don't prefill a school!

Extremely overpriced! Extremely expensive to broadcast Big Ten only. This is even more expensive than Netflix, Hulu, ESPN+, and many other streaming apps. Another issue is you can't view it in full screen on your phone! Unless you went to a certain college and wish to watch mainly obscure sports, this service isn't for you.
