The app stopped communicating with my car. Even when I'm sitting in the car, with my phone connected to the car's system, MyBMW says it can't update the status of the car. I can no longer lock or unlock the car from the app, and the status and location of the car in the app haven't updated in more than a week. Every time I start the app, it says "no internet connection," even when I have a solid 5G and a 600 MBPS wifi link, and all the other apps on my phone connect just fine.

Interior camera (my car is equipped) Says data privacy must be enabled. Ive certainly done this on both profiles and keys yet the interior camera never works... it says to enable data privacy. (I did on both keys and profiles) the security recorder doesnt seem to work either. I have the required options. Hopefully will be fixed when i attempt to update apps and services. Overall a very good app that im sure was very expensive to develop with very cool features.

Does not receive data for charging info and state of charge for at least 3 weeks. No the recent fix didn't work, no deleting the app and starting over doesn't work. No, resetting idrive doesn't work. It is a backend issue and customer tries to pretend one of these things will fix it. Very poor experience with BMW, never happens with Tesla

Update 10/3/2024 - Got an email saying they are extending remote lock/unlock service for my car and probably others as long as they can for no charge. I ed the app again and will start using it for basics. This is how it should be at the very minimum for the higher end cars. Only downside is, when you lock from the app, your vehicles alarm system does not get enabled. Alarms only arms when you lock from the key.

Not bad. The Google map used by the app is super old and doesn't display my address correctly as a result. Would be nice to be able to be able to remotely close windows and sunroof for my LCI G01 X3 using the app.

cool app. Would like additional vehicle security options, like how the Range Rover app, along with vehicle functionality, offers an option to engage "guardian mode," which provides app notification if the vehicle is tampered with (maybe it already does this without needing to click on a prompt??).

Apps like this cannot malfunction at all times... all of the app cannot connect to the database this morning. No charging station map , no keyless lock/unlock, driving datebase etc... what if i went somewhere without the key?

Great app, remote key doesn't work if your phone doesn't have UWB, and there are exactly 4 phones that it. Statistics and remote camera don't work anymore after iDrive update on 2024 sep 15
