Since no one answers emails- there is a major bug that causes ended checklists to restart when reopening the app in a new area. This is during the PA bird atlas so it forces the checklist outside of the block. This is really messed up for people who don't know to edit the track or who don't notice it has happened! It's been going on for ages and it's literally going to mess up data for the Atlas and ebird in general. Please fix it!

Ok app, but it has limitations that make it difficult to use. My biggest gripe is the lack of being able to save a hotspot, to say a list of favorites, and be able to quickly go to that and see recent checklists submitted. It's painful to do this simple action with the current app. I'm not looking for a single species, and I'm not near the hotspots I might want to visit, i e. more than 30 miles away.

The android version has not worked all day, at least for me, because of a "bug" in the software that will not allow me to review a list to be submitted or submit one. Supposedly, a vendor is working to fix the problem, but so far, there is little available info regarding what is wrong or when the bug will be fixed.

I never gave much thought to birds, and I never realized just how many different birds are all around me! But my mom recommended this app, and now I'm obsessed! I'm always outside, watching and listening for birds. I've even bought binoculars so I can see them better. This is my favorite app, and even though my mom and I live 600 miles apart, we share screenshots of new birds we've heard on the app! And looking for and finding my "bird of the day" is so much fun!

After using the app with the latest update for a while, I find myself wishing that Cornell had left the data input page alone for one simple reason. In the field you tap to search for a bird the text used to be in green and much easier to see. I keep tapping the bar above which stands out. Frustrating and for no good reason. There is some added functionality in different pages but I seldom use those. IMHO the changes weren't needed.

The image and sound recognition is amazing, easy to navige and find. One suggestion is in audio recording be able to click the bird photo to go to the information site, now I need to click the arrow and then "learn more". Second is the splash screen gets messed up on a wider screen, the button "my sound recordings" cover the three buttons for "step by step", Audio, and image identification.

The new interface looks terrible. They took what was an aesthetically pleasing thing to look at and as with the Merlin app update, turned it into a super bland page that essentially looks blank with a little text. please get a new design team that understands how to make things look better, not worse. oversimplification is destroying everything. The functionality still seems to work, but the new look ain't it.
