The reference pictures are amazing and so varied, and the grid features make it so much easier to transfer your rough outlines to paper. The picture feature that allows you to overlay the reference and a picture you take of your progress is really helpful to make sure you're getting the proportions right. The app also has links to articles that walk you through the simple steps to draw whatever category of drawing and which pencils to use. I also love the greyscale feature!

Alright! Better than some. What would be really nice, if I could isolate a single square from a given grid. Even better... the ability to swipe up, down, left and right to the next square. I would really like to concentrate on just that one square, then move (draw) in the direction I'm headed by swiping to the next single isolated square. Add that and I'll be a fan forever. No a super-fan... I'll probably just give you a blank cheque 😁 👽🍄

This app is pretty good but has a couple unintuitive aspects that could be fixed. First, you can swipe to go to the next photo, but you cant swipe to go back...why? You can flip the image with a button that is close by, but it flips vertically. ?? I feel like most people want to flip it horizontally, right? I do. But to do that you have to open a menu.

Great app for checking your drawings, though UI can be improved: When positioning the photograph over the reference, the reference kind of snaps to the photograph. So when I try to change the rotation or zoom of the photo, moving my thumb and index finger first does nothing, then the photo suddenly jerks into a new position, overshooting what I was aiming for. After that, adjusting the zoom/rotation works smoothly. Positioning the photo accurately is difficult like this.

Liked it at first, now every button press results in an add appearing. Ok I get it is a free app and all but come on every single button press. Shame, because I liked the grid overlay and other great features but there is no way I'm sticking with this add-app. It's got to the point that it is like a very long add with some app features thrown in between.

Love it!! Great app! The adds are not overwhelming, it is a 5$ one time purchase to go pro, you dont need it. Its grid allows you to import any photo from your phone and adjust it. You can get references from online for free as well. If there was one thing i didnt like a, is the poses section. I am conservative and some of those pics are to provocative, or just wrong(no nudity). It's easy enough to by that section, or use its filters which help out a lot. It could up the helps section -utube

Fantastic! Who needs Sktchy? After waiting (and waiting....and waiting....) for Sktchy to come out with an Android version, I found Drawing References. This is a great app, tons of reference photos, portraits, poses, young, old, etc. Also has a neat timed practice feature to hone quick sketching skills. Couldn't be more pleased with this app.

Lots of variety of different portraits, hands, and feet, and poses. Helps with axis lines and my favorite feature is blur feature making it easier to ignore the details when doing your outline. And if you can't find a picture under the quick start you can type it in the search, or add from your own files on your phone!
